Our Pastoral Leadership Team
The following individuals serve our church family as elders or overseers as recorded in the New Testament of the Bible. They are devoted to prayer, to the Word of God, and to the care of the members of Lake Community Church. Please pray for them and their families, as they lead us.
Edgar Timberlake, PLT Member
With family ties in North Carolina, Edgar's southern hospitality and warm personality bring a rich depth of friendliness to our PLT. His wife Wendy also enjoys welcoming visitors in their home or at church, desiring people to know and follow Jesus. When Edgar isn’t visiting his kids and grandkids, he and Wendy are on the golf course or out fishing!
Mike Dahlquist, PLT Chair
Mike and his wife Lisa have 2 children. Mike feels honored to serve the Lord. He has been on numerous Mexico mission trips, has been involved with our children and youth programs by teaching during VBS and has taught Sunday School for many years. In his spare time Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and being with family.
Wade Cole, PLT Member
Wade and his wife Kendra came to LCC in 2011. Since then both have served in several ministries. Wade co-leads the Sunday morning Adult Bible Fellowship group and went on the mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico in 2012. Kendra is a member of the Finance Team, and they both sing on the Worship Team. Other interests include boating, water and snow skiing, golfing, hiking, and other outdoor recreation.
Paul Peterson, Associate Pastor
Paul joined the pastoral staff in February 2014 serving in the areas of student, children and family ministries. He is passionate about teaching, helping people connect, and equipping people to make disciples. Paul and his wife Amanda have four boys Eric, Eli, Micah, and Daniel. In his spare time Paul enjoys golfing, building, boating, and cooking.
Our Pastoral Search Committee
Please pray for the pastoral search committee as they lead us and guide the decision making for Lake Community's next senior pastor. Specifically, pray for the Holy Spirit to lead them to God's choice for our next pastor, for wisdom and discernment, for strong unity among the group, for strength during the process, and finally, for the candidates who they communicate with.
