To start out the year, Women's Ministry is throwing a party! It's our tradition.
Doors open at 5:30pm, we'll be dining together at 6:00pm, followed by our speaker and finishing out the night with a little something sweet. Expect a simple, yummy meal of soup, bread, dessert, refreshments, as well as lots of opportunities to start connections with women in possibly a different life stage. The founts of wisdom will be overflowing for sure (well, we're pretty sure...)
Jean Dunham - Speaker
She will share how God shows Himself strong in life's defining moments and in the everyday moments. Jean grew up in Valley City, ND where she met and married Tom, her high-school sweetheart and husband of almost 39 years. She came to Christ when she was 21 and eventually settled in Grand Forks, ND. Through campus outreach and home Bible studies, Tom and Jean helped in the founding of Cottonwood Community Church in 1985 where she has had the role of pastor's wife ever since. She is the mother of one of our Women's Ministry leaders, Anne Madsen.
During the event, there will be an opportunity to sign up for a multi-generational table. We are also looking for older women to host a monthly table. If you are interested, please contact Melody.
There is no charge for the event. Volunteers are needed!
