Here's whats up...

EPIC FALL KICKOFF, next Wed Sep 7, Youth for Christ Center in Alexandria, 815 7th Ave E.  Invite your friends for the games, group hangout and biblical challenge!

FALL FLING RETREAT, OCT 21-23 AT CAMP SHAMINEAU, $30 Reg Fee is due this Wed at the Kickoff!  We extended the deadline so you could invite a couple friends because we want you to help your friends hear and see the gospel and be transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.  Will you pray about who you would invite?  We will be fundraising the additional $69 before the Oct 13 final deadline ($99 total).

MONTHLY PLAN FOR WED NIGHTS, 6:30-8:30pm!  1st Wed- Youth for Christ Center, 2nd Wed- Epic at LCC, 3rd Wed- Service Projects (TBA), 4th Wed- Epic at LCC, 5th Wed- Student Missions Challenge at LCC.  As you can see we are not your typical 'youth' gathering.  We believe students are ready for more, and are at the center of the mission of Jesus Christ to reach a lost world.  So let's do this thing!

WE WANT GODLY ADULT (18yrs plus) MENTORS!  Call or email Jeff to share your heart for coming alongside teens and encouraging them in their walk with Jesus Christ.

EPIC STUDENT MINISTRY AT ALEX TECH COMMUNITY COLLEGE- Join us for fellowship every Tuesday 4pm in the Cafe Game Room...a great place to connect with others and minister to your friends and classmates in college or young adult years.

EPIC LUNCH HOURS AT DISCOVERY MIDDLE SCHOOL AND JEFFERSON SENIOR HIGH- Coming Soon!  Come to the fall kickoff where we will talk about these times!

What if all of life was one epic journey we're all cast into?   Students and parents, welcome to the EPIC journey and let us know who you are!  Epic Student Ministry is all about reaching students with a Christ-centered community and building students through engaging their own culture.  EPIC has a vision to create a network of students on every school campus who love and follow Jesus, that would bring His epic grace and truth into their real lives.  Teens and parents can find out more about EPIC here.  Bottom line, we're about following Jesus, and offering real relationships that students can trust.

Alongside our Middle School and High School Wed nights at the north campus of Lake Community Church, we also host Epic Sunday Nights at Alex Tech Community College for college students, young adults and families to include young adults into the life of our church family.  With smaller mentoring groups and other outings, there's always something happening!  We're different than most 'youth ministries'- rather than just a pet project, students are actually at the core of God's mission to reach a lost world!  Epic students are daily engaging in the battle to be missional and relational wherever we are.  Contact us to join us in this EPIC battle!
